Hey Lovely Ladies
If you
have PCOS, then there is this really big fat chance of someone (or many) told
you that regular exercise is mandatory for the rest of your life. Well if there
is a teensy tiny chance that the idea of regular exercising has not been
hammered into your mind yet, I take the authority or liberty to do just that.
EXERCISE GIRL !!!! IT’S MUST. YOUR BODY
DESERVES IT.
I know. You exercised for a month religiously and you
realized that it is just a whole lot of stupidity as you never acquired any
results. Your body has not attained that perfect shape you coveted like those
celebrity body you idolized, or worse you lost a few kilos and you got all
pumped up and pushed yourself further but psst… nothing after that and to top
it all no sign of your periods in the vicinity. I Know. I am just one of you.
It is easy to conceive an action plan for your workout regime but so effing
tough to work out the work-out plan.
There are a lot of options out there. Personally I find
holding someone accountable helps a ton. It could be your workout partner or a
personal trainer or the money you have invested in your gym membership or a
nagging parent (in my case my mother). I have tried it all and found out that
CHANGE IN THE ROUTINE IS THE KEY TO CONSISTENCY IN THE FITNESS WORLD.
I am no expert in
this field. As a PCOSian I have no other option . I have to exercise. I go to
swimming and yoga classes to keep up with my fitness level. But then again I
get so bored with the routine commute I bunk classes for months. And planning my post and pre-workout meals
resulted in a lot of brain-storming and squabbling with my mother.
A couple of years ago I found this amazing internet
community spearheaded by these two vivacious young women (specialized
trainers) called TONE IT UP.
I was hooked. They have these fitness challenges
which is an 8 week workout program thrice a year. They are going to start their Annual Bikini
SERIES 2015 this APRIL 13. You can sign up for it following this link.
I know there are many such communities in the internet. But
I am extremely partial to them as most of their exercise routines are fun, can
be done at-home with little to no equipment. Bonus- the community consists of
wonderful women from all over the world to hold each other accountable. I am
happy to be able to introduce them to you. So What are you waiting for?! Hop on
board. Lets do it Lady
